Location: Fresno, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 DOE

A well-established distribution and logistics company serving customers throughout California is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its growing finance team. With a reputation for operational excellence and long-term stability, the organization continues to expand while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This position plays an important role in supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting integrity, and helping leadership make informed business decisions.

The Opportunity

This role exists to support the company's continued growth and increasing financial reporting needs. The Staff Accountant will take ownership of key accounting functions, work closely with finance leadership, and collaborate with operations teams across the organization. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of month-end responsibilities, financial analysis, and process improvement while gaining exposure to multiple areas of accounting.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Review general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting functions as needed
• Partner with department leaders to provide reporting, resolve discrepancies, and improve processes

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP or accounting software systems
• Manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or inventory-based industry experience preferred
