Staff Accountant

• Assist with financial responsibilities to include monthly close process, cycle count process, and raw materials inventory process.
• Manage inventory transactions and investigate any discrepancies.
• Work with the Plant Assistant Controller and Plant staff to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
• Review variances with managers to determine corrective action.
• Assist with annual physical inventory process and control.
• Assist the Plant Assistant Controller and Plant staff to meet reporting timetable.
• Assist with preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial reporting.
• Manage payables and perform all payables functions.
• Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position.
• Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.
