We’re currently seeking a
Staff Accountant
to join a growing accounting team in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation across
general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, revenue, and treasury functions
while working closely with experienced accounting professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities

Prepare and record monthly revenue and other accounting transactions
-
Assist with monthly financial statements, journal entries, and
general ledger reconciliations
-
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
flux analyses
-
Assist with daily
treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and cash transactions
-
Prepare and process various deposits and related accounting activity
-
Collaborate with teams across the organization to gather information and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
-
Maintain complete and accurate financial records in accordance with
GAAP
-
Gain exposure to the company’s various business operations and legal entities
What We’re Looking For
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
-
1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
-
Strong and current understanding of
GAAP
-
CPA or actively working toward CPA preferred
-
Oil & Gas experience is a plus, but not required
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
