Our team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our ranks and contribute to the success of our organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Full Cycle Accounting:
    • Manage and execute day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
    • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and collections.
    • Assist Controller:
    • Collaborate closely with our Controller to support financial reporting and analysis.
    • Work on various accounting projects as assigned by the Controller, contributing to the efficiency of the overall financial function.
    • Trial Balance and Final Entries:
    • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
    • Assist in the preparation of trial balances and make necessary adjustments.
    • Debits and Credits:
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to accurately record financial transactions and differentiate between debits and credits.
    • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and various management reports.
    • Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
    • Assist with financial audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
    • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless information flow and financial data accuracy.
    • Participate in meetings and discussions to contribute valuable insights to the financial health of the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
    • Strong understanding of debits and credits, full cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
    • Bilingual- English/Spanish - Proficiency
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills.
