Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
• 
  
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• 
  
• The Staff Accountant will assist with financial reporting and internal documentation requirements
• 
  
• The Staff Accountant will ensure compliance with accounting standards and government contract regulations
• 
  

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant Role

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• 
  
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• 
  
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
