Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• 
  

• Manage high-volume, inventory-heavy Accounts Payable within P21 / Prophet 21

  
  
• 
  

• Process invoices, perform three-way matching, and ensure accurate coding and payments in P21

  
  
• 
  

• Research invoice, PO, receiving, and inventory discrepancies within the P21 system

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation, including W-9s

  
  
• 
  

• Prevent duplicate payments and resolve vendor issues

  
  
• 
  

• Support general accounting and cross-train across additional accounting functions

  
  
• 
  

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• 
  

• Strong hands-on P21 / Prophet 21 experience highly preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

  
  
• 
  

• Experience using P21 within a distribution and inventory-heavy environment

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Accounts Payable experience, including three-way matching

  
  
• 
  

• Understanding of inventory accounting and how purchasing, receiving, and AP flow through P21

  
  
• 
  

• Solid understanding of GAAP with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
