JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant
JOB OVERVIEW
- Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, 6 days in a month on-site
- Duration: 6 months / CONTRACT [NO BENEFITS]
Pay Rate:$50 to $52 per hour
ROLE SUMMARY
- The role provides accounting support during two planned employee leaves of absence.
- The individual will initially support the Project Accounting function and will transition to Fixed Asset Accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in monthly close activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform variance analyses
- Assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc requests as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting internal controls
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other large ERP systems
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- SAP experience is strongly preferred
