    Job Summary:

    The Staff Accountantis responsible to assist to ensure the compliance with accounting guidelines within the assigned tasks and act as a business partner to improve the quality of the financial close, including but not limited to compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data as well as performing audits and assistance in payable reconciliation.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Verify and reconcile invoices, terms of payment with purchase orders. 

    •  Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.

    •  Process transactions and perform daily accounting duties such as account maintenance, entries recording, etc. 

    • Disburses checks, petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.

    • Reconcile the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.

    • Monthly accounting duties such as labor expense accrual and prepaids.

    • Prepare ad-hoc General Journal Entries.

    • Assist in month end closing documentation and review.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or related fields.

    • Minimum 1-2 year of accounting and/or finance experience.

    • Advanced in  Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

    • Remarkable detail orientation.

    • Verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with accounting software (i.e., QuickBooks, Netsuite, etc.)..
