Description:

Seeking an experienced SSO Authentication Solution Lead with 12+ years of experience in authentication architecture, identity and access management (IAM), and CIAM solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Okta, SSO, authentication protocols, cloud identity solutions, and team leadership. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and securing enterprise authentication solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure identity management systems.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of authentication solutions aligned with security and business goals.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and security teams to develop authentication strategies.
• Evaluate and select authentication technologies, protocols, and tools.
• Integrate authentication mechanisms including MFA, biometric authentication, and SSO.
• Stay current with authentication and identity management trends.
• Lead security assessments and penetration testing of authentication systems.
• Define access control policies, user roles, and privilege management mechanisms.
• Mentor and guide junior authentication and security team members.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to implement authentication solutions.
• Create and maintain authentication documentation, configurations, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in authentication architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience with Okta and access management tools.
• Strong expertise in OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and Kerberos.
• Experience with AWS Cognito, Azure AD, and cloud authentication solutions.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Python, and XML.
• Knowledge of security principles, access control, and encryption.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, Apache, and load balancers.
• Experience developing workflows and custom connectors.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Okta Certified Administrator required.
• Okta Certified Consultant/Developer preferred.
• CISSP/CIAM Certification is a plus.
