Description:
We are seeking an experienced SRE Lead with 12+ years of experience specializing in performance engineering, mobile application performance testing, and site reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing performance test scripts, executing large-scale performance tests, analyzing system bottlenecks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application scalability, reliability, and optimal user experience across iOS mobile applications and backend services.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts for iOS mobile applications.
• Build and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume tests for mobile applications and backend services.
• Develop automated performance testing solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Analyze application, device, network, API, and backend performance metrics to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Validate application performance across multiple iOS devices, OS versions, and varying network conditions.
• Define and implement performance testing strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Establish performance baselines and benchmark applications against performance targets.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance issues across the mobile ecosystem.
• Recommend performance tuning and optimization improvements.
• Support performance testing throughout the SDLC and Agile release lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to define performance requirements.
• Define and document SLAs, SLOs, and performance KPIs.
• Present performance testing results, risks, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Measure and report response times, throughput, resource utilization, and user experience metrics.
• Develop performance dashboards and automate reporting.
• Monitor performance trends and support production performance monitoring and root cause analysis.

• Required Skills:

• Expertise in developing performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and XCUITest (Apple's native UI test automation framework).
• Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar monitoring solutions.
• Strong experience in performance engineering and mobile application performance testing.
• Knowledge of API, backend, network, and infrastructure performance analysis.
• Experience with automated performance testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Performance Testing.
• Proven experience with iOS mobile application performance testing.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning methodologies and monitoring tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Development, DevOps, QA, and Product Management.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
