Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an SRE DevOps for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA /Austin, TX. The ideal candidate must have proven experience automating deployments, managing Kubernetes environments, and improving system reliability through observability and incident management.
Rate Range: $58/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SRE DevOps Responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python to improve efficiency and reliability.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and health using observability tools, dashboards, and alerts.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements while supporting production environments and on-call operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure environments.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Proven experience in managing production systems, incident response, observability, automation, and maintaining highly available, scalable cloud-native platforms.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour
