Job Summary: SRE AIOps Engineer (Hybrid - Miami, FL)
About the Role
Join a pioneering team as an SRE AIOps Engineer in Miami, FL, where you'll drive AI-powered automation and shape operational excellence for a multi-brand global eCommerce platform. This is a 12-month rolling contract with a hybrid work model-onsite Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays. Ideal for engineers passionate about combining advanced SRE practices with cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, including LLMs and automation pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML and LLM-based solutions to automate incident triage, summary generation, and remediation recommendations.
- Develop Python services, CLIs, and scripts to automate SRE tasks and process logs, metrics, and events.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and manage SRE tooling and observability stacks.
- Advance AI-driven operational capabilities using Atlassian Rovo and internal AI tools.
- Serve as the go-to L2 contact for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Assets, Adobe Target, and related integrations.
- Perform initial triage for application issues, including log/error analysis and configuration validation.
- Deliver detailed incident descriptions, impact assessments, and reproducible steps for L3/engineering teams.
- Monitor dashboards and alerts (Splunk, New Relic) to identify and address operational anomalies.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for effective incident management.
- Provide leadership for LLM wrapper projects or AI modeling initiatives, overseeing small technical teams as needed.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation (approx. 1-2 times/month, including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Required Skills and Experience
- 6-10 years in SRE, DevOps, or related roles with proven leadership in team coordination and technical effort delegation.
- Strong Python development for production-grade services and automation.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-driven automation, AI tools, or ML projects.
- Advanced monitoring and observability with Splunk and New Relic.
- Deep experience supporting CMS-based platforms, especially AEM.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Rovo.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Combined experience in both SRE and AEM.
- Experience leading LLM wrapper or AI modeling projects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
