Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system-level verification planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Develop V&V strategies, test plans, protocols, sample-size justification, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and validate test methods, including validation plans and reports.
  • Drive verification of mechanical, electrical, system compatibility, reliability, and tissue performance.
  • Perform/support design validation with real or simulated end users.
  • Test medical devices in ex-vivo tissue environments.
  • Maintain regulatory submission-ready verification evidence and engineering reports.
  • Support design reviews, risk management, and design-input verification/traceability.
  • Work cross-functionally with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Marketing, Human Factors, and Program Management.
  • Analyze and present test results, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Provide technical leadership/mentoring to engineers and external development partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 6+ years technical testing/engineering OR Advanced Degree + 4+ years.
  • Experience leading system-level V&V planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Experience supporting system-level validation.
  • Ex-vivo tissue testing experience.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical test equipment such as Instron, multimeter, etc.
  • Strong independent problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
