We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with 10-12+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise data platforms within the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Medallion Architecture, and Provider Data Management. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performing data solutions, developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing Medallion Architecture frameworks, and ensuring data quality and governance across healthcare data platforms. As a client-facing role, the candidate should be comfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders, conducting solutioning workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions. The individual will also be expected to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Design and implement scalable Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.

Build and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data platforms.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, data transformations, and performance tuning strategies.

Work extensively with Healthcare data, preferably Provider Data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Collaborate with business users, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, governance, and quality.

Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation using advanced Excel techniques.

Lead client discussions, architecture reviews, and technical solution presentations.

Support implementation of modern data engineering practices and cloud-based data platforms.

Mandatory Skills :

10-12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing

5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (mandatory), SQL

Strong Provider domain experience (mandatory) , Provider Data Management

Experience working with Provider Data, Provider Network

Expert-level SQL development, optimization, and performance tuning

Deep understanding and implementation experience of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)

Experience designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

Strong Data Modeling and Data Warehousing expertise

Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and validation

Client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to lead technical discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design workshops

Experience with data quality, governance, lineage, and best practices

Git Experience - Expert knowledge of Git workflows including branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, rebasing, code reviews, and release management. Master Data - Experience designing Master Data Management solutions, reference data structures, crosswalk tables, source-to-target mapping strategies

Data Modeling - Strong expertise in dimensional modeling, natural and surrogate key strategies, referential integrity, uniqueness enforcement, and scalable schema design'
