Datacenter Technical Program Manager (TPM) role focused on AI builds/clusters include a strong technical background in hardware deployment, data center infrastructure, and program management for large-scale AI/high-performance computing (HPC) systems. This role involves coordinating cross- functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, vendors) to design, build, deploy, and scale HPC clusters in Tesla owned/built data centers.
This position is based in the Tesla Austin Gigafactory.

- Program Management: Lead cross-functional , global/matrixed teams ; manage schedules , risks, dependencies and deliverables across hardware, software, construction and facilities teams. Build strong relationships between various cross functional teams
- Drive end-to-end large scale GPU cluster builds and deployments
- Gathering requirements, scope, helping prioritization, resources, budget and planning for all phases of the Program life cycle
- Drive organizational alignment and efficiency by coordinating with multi-functional leads and streamlining processes
- Serve as the first point of escalation for the project team
- Technical Acumen: Understand GPU server design, cluster architecture, system monitoring/instrumentation (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and supply chain/ODM-OEM coordination for reliable assembly
- Datacenter design concepts - power/cooling technologies, Datacenter construction
- Leadership & Communication: Present to senior leadership, manage vendors/customers and resolve issues in ambiguous or high-pressure environments
- Report on overall program status, providing insights, risks and recommendations to senior management
- 7 to 10+ years in technical program/project management, with direct experience in hardware systems, data center deployments or AI/ML Infrastructure
- Hands-on or strong familiarity with high - performance computing (HPC), GPU clusters, datacenter power/cooling, networking and Infrastructure deployment
