    Description

Amazon Advertising is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of Ads Agent internal, the AI agent that helps Amazon Ads support, sales, and operations teams resolve advertiser issues faster and with higher quality. You will own the program that takes the agent from pilot to scale. That means coordinating the many science, engineering, and partner teams that build its skills, tools, and evaluations, and making sure each release measurably improves resolution quality and adoption. Your program will directly affect S-Team goals for customer experience and support efficiency.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own end to end program delivery for Ads Agent internal, from planning through launch and ramp. This includes phased rollouts across support teams and moving from closed to open beta.
    • Drive cross-team execution across FAIM and the partner teams that build individual skills, tools, and data integrations. Manage dependencies, surface risks early, and escalate with clear options and trade-offs.
    • Run the operating rhythm for the program: weekly status, goal tracking, and VP-level touchbases. Report on adoption, resolution quality, and efficiency metrics against committed targets.
    • Define and enforce launch readiness. Set the bar for evaluation coverage, quality gates, and go/no-go criteria, and work with science and product to close gaps before each release.
    • Build the mechanisms that make the agent measurably better over time alongside Ads Nova model team in FAIM. This includes the eval cadence, advertiser-issue and support-case feedback loops, and the process for turning failure analysis into prioritized fixes.
    • Partner with product to turn roadmap priorities into executable plans with clear milestones, owners, and resourcing. Keep the roadmap, architecture decisions, and delivery dates aligned.
    • Work with support operations, legal, and policy stakeholders on rollout, change management, and training, so frontline teams adopt the agent and trust it.
    • Contribute to technical discussions on architecture, tooling, and platform decisions, and help the team make decisions faster with less rework.
    • Write clearly for senior audiences, including program updates, risk reviews, and narrative documents such as OP1 inputs and PRFAQs.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
