    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Opportunity

    Abbott is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Corporate Talent Acquisition team, supporting finance recruitment for our centralized Finance Hub. This role operates within the Global Talent Acquisition organization that partners across Abbott's diverse businesses, including Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Nutrition, and Established Pharmaceuticals.

    What You’ll Work On

    • Provide full-cycle recruitment support and consultative partnership for Finance and related business functions within Abbott’s centralized Finance Hub.
    • Develop and execute targeted talent acquisition strategies by leveraging workforce data, talent market insights, and industry trends.
    • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to define position requirements, competency profiles, and sourcing approaches.
    • Proactively source, engage, and cultivate active and passive talent pipelines for finance and accounting roles across the enterprise.
    • Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and talent evaluations, presenting qualified candidate slates and recommendations to hiring teams.
    • Facilitate interview debriefs and drive consensus among stakeholders to support timely, informed hiring decisions.
    • Monitor recruiting performance metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate pipeline health, ensuring adherence to established processes and compliance requirements.
    • Develop competitive offer strategies in partnership with compensation, HR, and business leaders, and manage the offer negotiation and acceptance process.
    • Deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience from initial engagement through onboarding and transition to the business.
    • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and talent acquisition expertise.
    • Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and hiring activity records within Workday and other talent acquisition systems.
    • Serve as a strategic talent advisor by providing market intelligence, hiring trends, and workforce insights to support business growth and talent planning initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on Finance roles.
    • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools/social media.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Strong computer skills, including internet proficiency.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and pay attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work within all organizational levels.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with employment systems, preferably Workday.
    • Strong closing skills in a competitive market.
    • Experience in a cross-divisional business unit model.
    • Ability to work in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
    • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
    • Prior recruiting experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
    • Previous recruitment agency experience.

    The base pay for this position is

    $78,000.00 – $156,000.00

    In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
