Akkodis is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise integrations, ensuring end-to-end traceability, ARP4754 compliance, and alignment of systems engineering data across the product lifecycle.
Rate Range: $95/Hour to $101/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and maintain the IBM ELM/Jazz platform to support safety-critical aerospace development and Digital Thread initiatives.
Develop and manage integration between IBM ELM and enterprise systems such as PLM, CAD, ERP, and MES using OSLC, REST APIs, and middleware solutions.
Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability and compliance with ARP4754A/B, DO-178C, and DO-254 standards across software, hardware, and manufacturing lifecycles.
Administer and configure IBM ELM Suite components including DOORS Next Gen, EWM, ETM, Rhapsody, GCM, and JTS, while maintaining system performance and availability.
Partner with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to manage change requests, verification activities, workflow automation, and compliance reporting.
Develop automation scripts, custom integrations, dashboards, and reporting solutions to enhance lifecycle management, audit readiness, and Digital Thread visibility.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering tooling, or lifecycle management platforms.
Deep hands-on expertise with the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) Suite, including DOORS Next Generation, EWM, ETM, Rhapsody, GCM, and JTS, with experience configuring and administering enterprise-scale environments.
Proven experience integrating IBM ELM with PLM platforms using OSLC, REST APIs, and automation frameworks to support Digital Thread and requirements traceability initiatives.

Pay Details: $95.00 to $101.00 per hour
