Sr. Systems Analyst

BIICS,Inc is looking to fill a Sr. Systems Analyst position. The position is locatedin Tallahassee, FL and work is on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Work as adeveloper, facilitator and subject matter expert for applications and servicesdealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functionalapplication projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions areimplemented.
• Provide guidanceand oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception throughintegration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify,analyze, and resolve problems and issues with troubleshooting tools andtechniques as well as teamwork.
• Work with theteam toward continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps,standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with otherdevelopers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, anddocumentation.
• Work inpartnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects ofthe project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the higheststandards.
• Develop andapply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, andmethodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree in computer science, Information Systems or another related technicalfield, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7+years as a lead developer or development manager.
• 5+ years ofbroad experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL,SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge ofterminology and concepts of relational databases, including SQL proficiency.
• Experience withthe development and maintenance of software systems dealing with complexfinancial business processes.
• Ability toconduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into businesssolutions.
• Ability toeffectively communicate and lead development teams.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of MicrosoftVisual Studio/.NET.
