Concrete Superintendent

We are exclusively partnered with a growing Concrete Contractor, founded in 2021 by a very smart individual who spent time with a nationally-renowned firm in the industry. They are experiencing their best year on-record, expecting to close the books with $18M in revenue with plenty more runway for growth over the next decade. The company currently has about 80 employees, and self-performs all aspects of their work. They are implementing a strategic growth plan that will ensure that headcount continues to rise and their backlog continues to grow. Based in Nashville, the firm operates across their home market in addition to Chattanooga and Huntsville, AL - where they anticipate a healthy amount of work to originate in the coming years.

Job Description

Oversee daily commercial concrete activities across assigned project areas. Review project plans and coordinate work sequences with project stakeholders. Schedule crews, materials, equipment, and concrete placements to meet project timelines. Monitor field work to support safe, accurate, and consistent concrete installation. Track progress against project schedules and address field issues as they arise. Coordinate with site teams to prepare work areas for concrete operations. Inspect completed work against project drawings and quality expectations. Communicate daily progress, scheduling needs, and site updates to construction leadership.

The Successful Applicant

10+ years as a Construction Superintendent. Experience overseeing commercial concrete construction activities. Experience reading construction drawings and coordinating field work. Ability to plan concrete placements, work sequences, and site logistics. Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Ability to monitor work quality and resolve day-to-day field issues. Clear communication skills for sharing progress and schedule updates.

What's on Offer

Permanent Concrete Superintendent position. Salary of $120,000 to $160,000.annually. Vehicle allowance / Company vehicle depending on preference. Per-diem and lodging allowance if necessary. Annual bonuses based on company and individual performance metrics. Full benefits offered including insurance and 401K.
