Job Duties: Develop and implement Test Automation Frameworks for business critical products. Develop and implement test data management strategies. Work with both developers and product owners to ensure all requirements have been thoroughly explored and implemented. Develop and implement service virtualization strategies to test external services. Assist other automation engineers in maintaining the frameworks. Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, boundary/negative testing, usability. Develop and execute quality assurance processes and testing best practices. Mentor on quality assurance, network with other automation teams within Charles Schwab, and derive automation best practices for continuous improvement.

What you have

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 48 months of experience involving the following: Design and develop automation test framework, apply the principle of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) using Cucumber, Rest Assured, TestNG and Gherkin; Utilize Java with Spring Boot for testing microservices API; Cloud-based testing for applications hosted in PCF, and Cloud testing including deployment, configuration, automated testing and monitoring in CI/CD pipelines; Writing and executing queries on Oracle and NoSQL (MongoDB and Cassandra) databases to validate application data and support backend testing efforts; Testing producer and consumer applications that handle events through Apache Kafka, including validation of message flow, data integrity and eventdriven processing; Developing and executing performance test scripts using Apache JMeter to evaluate the scalability and responsiveness of APIs and event-driven consumer applications under varying load conditions; and Creating analysis queries and dashboards for application logs using tools including Splunk and Kibana to evaluate the system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
