    Description

    Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Senior IAM Control Sustainability and Assurance Specialist will strengthen the long-term effectiveness, resilience, and audit readiness of controls across Schwab's Identity and Access Management program. You will translate audit, regulatory, policy, and standards-based requirements into practical control and evidence expectations while independently assessing control design, execution, and operating effectiveness.

In this role, you will partner with control owners, technical teams, auditors, and leaders to identify risks, evaluate evidence quality, recommend corrective actions, and monitor remediation. You will help establish repeatable procedures, validation checks, health indicators, and assurance practices that improve consistency and identify control degradation early.

Your work will also advance automation and process improvements across IAM control and audit workflows, reducing manual effort and strengthening accuracy, traceability, and resilience. Success requires sound judgment, thoughtful challenge, clear communication, and the ability to adapt priorities based on risk and business needs.
