About the Team

The successful candidate will join the Americas Solutions Architects and Specialist Organization at Nutanix, a forward-thinking team dedicated to addressing the complexities of AI-based workloads. This team is part of a mature and financially viable cloud software company that prides itself on delivering simplicity in technology challenges. With a core mission to support the emerging needs of enterprise AI and a culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship, the team is well-positioned to help drive significant transformation for businesses through their AI solutions.

You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineering, who believes in empowering team members and promoting an open, collaborative environment that encourages creativity and initiative. The role is fully remote, allowing flexibility, but the successful candidate should be prepared to travel as needed for business engagements and team collaboration, potentially visiting the office for meetings when necessary.

The position requires an ability to travel up to 50%, with approximately 30% of the travel expected for customer engagements, industry events, and collaboration with partners and stakeholders. This travel will support relationship building and sales efforts in various geographic locations.

Your Role

• Act as a primary AI Advisor to prospective clients, leveraging deep market knowledge to propose solutions for specific business challenges.
• Engage with existing pipeline to onboard new AI customers and extract valuable insights from those interactions.
• Design and develop marketing collateral and materials to support field enablement and customer engagement.
• Adhere to the MEDDPICC sales methodology to drive consistent and effective sales processes.
• Collaborate with AI Sales Lead and cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and drive growth in the Americas.
• Identify and establish partnerships with specialists and SIs to scale AI solutions delivery and implementation.
• Support the development of a robust enablement plan to enhance team capabilities and customer success.
• Foster an innovative culture by sharing insights on generative AI advancements and best practices within the organization.

What You Will Bring

• 7+ years of proven pre-sales experience in cloud-native environments.
• Strong expertise in AI technologies, Cloud software, and IaaS.
• Experience in designing and operating generative AI environments.
• Familiarity with products like Claude Code, OpenCode, and Openwork.
• Knowledge of model routers such as LiteLLM and Bifrost.
• Ability to engage effectively with all levels of business and IT contacts.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach in fast-paced settings.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 225,600 and USD $ 338,400 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
