Sr. Software Engineer
The Role:
Senior Entellitrak / Java / JEE software engineer who can serve as, or strongly support, the PWS Software Integration Engineer. This is a remote opportunity.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ten or more years of IT experience, including system integration and interface development.
- Ten or more years of technical experience related to Health IT is strongly preferred.
- The PWS Software Integration Engineer requirement also calls for experience with DoDI 5000.02 agile development, automated solution development, and database schema implementation.
Strong preference: Direct Entellitrak/Tyler Technologies Case Management Development Platform experience. If Entellitrak is not present, require senior Java/JEE case management, workflow, records, reporting, or regulatory compliance application experience with SQL Server database schema work. Health IT, DHA, MHS, VA, CMS, HHS, or DoD application experience should be given heavy weight.
Functional experience needed in resume: Java/JEE development; Entellitrak configuration/customization; system integration; interface development; SQL Server schema updates; database scripts; performance refactoring; report-related schema/architecture changes; agile user story development; break/fix releases; out-of-cycle production fixes; source code documentation; executable code documentation; production installation instructions; version description documents; security scan remediation; code delivery without CAT 1/CAT 2 findings; defect correction.
Certifications:
Java certification, Security+, AWS/Azure developer, SAFe/Agile, database or SQL Server certification. Security+ is useful for DHA/DoD environments.
