Job Title: Informatica Developer / Data Platform Migration
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to support large scale data platform migrations and enterprise ETL modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience migrating Informatica workloads across Teradata/Snowflake to SAP HANA, strong SQL expertise, and proven ability to work with very large datasets (billions of records) while ensuring data accuracy and performance. Experience with Control M scheduling and strong data validation skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
a €¢Design, develop, and migrate Informatica ETL/ELT jobs across platforms:
o
From: Teradata a SAP HANA
o
To: Snowflake a SAP HANA
a €¢Refactor and optimize Informatica mappings for target platforms to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
a €¢Work with datasets at enterprise scale (billions of records), ensuring efficient processing and adherence to SLAs.
a €¢Develop and tune complex SQL for Teradata, Snowflake, and SAP HANA environments.
a €¢Implement and manage Control M job scheduling, dependencies, alerts, and recovery strategies.
a €¢Perform comprehensive data validation and reconciliation, ensuring source to target data accuracy and consistency.
a €¢Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business stakeholders to understand transformation logic and migration requirements.
a €¢Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents.
a €¢Document ETL logic, migration approaches, validation results, and operational runbooks.
a €¢Support UAT, production cutover, and post migration stabilization activities.
Required Skills and Experience
a €¢5+ years of hands on experience as an Informatica Developer (PowerCenter or similar).
a €¢Strong experience migrating Informatica jobs between Teradata, SAP HANA, and Snowflake.
a €¢Proven experience handling very large data volumes (billions of rows).
a €¢Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
a €¢Strong data validation and reconciliation experience, including row counts, aggregations, and exception handling.
a €¢Hands on experience with Control M for job scheduling and batch orchestration.
a €¢Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
a €¢Experience working in enterprise production environments with strict data quality and availability requirements.
Good to Have / Preferred Qualifications
a €¢Experience with SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services).
a €¢Hands on experience with SAP HANA procedures, SQLScript, and performance optimization.
a €¢Experience with SAP HANA modeling (calculation views, attributes, analytical views).
a €¢Familiarity with cloud data migration patterns and Snowflake optimization techniques.
a €¢Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
