The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration and transformation, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver high quality data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data engineering and Informatica.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist in the development of data governance and data management best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
- Proficient in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleansing and transformation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proven experience with Informatica as a primary ETL tool.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications in Informatica or related technologies are a plus.
