Sr. Staff Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Littleton, CO or Jacksonville, FL
Overview
Seeking a senior-level Embedded Software Engineer to develop highly reliable firmware for microprocessor-based systems, including SoC/SoM platforms used in aerospace/space hardware.
Responsibilities
  • Develop embedded software/firmware to system requirements
  • Perform software design, static/dynamic analysis, testing, and verification
  • Create software requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications
  • Support Agile development, task estimation, and V&V activities
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and quality teams
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle
Required
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field
  • 10+ years of embedded software development
  • Strong Embedded Linux experience
  • Strong C/C++
  • Experience with SoC/SoM systems
  • Hardware interface experience: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Serial, Ethernet
  • Experience with complete SDLC in a regulated/high-reliability environment such as aerospace, defense, medical, etc.
  • Linux OS fundamentals: networking, memory management, file systems, schedulers
  • Git, Make/CMake, Jira
  • Experience leading software projects from requirements through V&V
  • US Citizenship required
Preferred
  • RTOS, Linux device drivers, and bootloaders
  • Python
  • Microcontrollers
  • YOCTO
  • Jenkins/Atlassian
  • Software architecture, DMA, interrupts, caching, and memory mapping
  • Image processing/camera systems
