Role Details:

  • Product Support: Mojave
  • Interview Start: ASAP
  • Start Date: 8/3
  • Work Location: Both remote and onsite, with 4 days onsite required

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of embedded systems design, low-level FW peripherals, communication buses, and device drivers.
  • Proficiency in hexadecimal and binary data reading/writing/manipulation.
  • 4 years of software development experience on embedded bare metal or RTOS systems (C, C++).
  • Strong working knowledge of developing software for medical devices/products, including familiarity with the governing processes and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
  • Experience writing software requirements, decomposing these requirements into test designs, and writing well-defined, thorough automated test scripts.
  • Strong test script debugging skills.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle from planning to release.
  • Experience in regulated software development processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Neuro devices, programmers, and their associated applications.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
  • Determine systems software design requirements and ensure successful implementation and monitoring of system improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Generate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Deliver and manage projects assigned, working with stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  • May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of lower-level professionals.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
