Sr. SAP Warehouse Management (WM) - Functional Consultant
Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP WM Functional Consultant to support an active implementation environment by translating warehouse business requirements into practical SAP WM solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on functional configuration experience, full-lifecycle implementation exposure, testing and troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to guide internal teams through knowledge transfer and user adoption. Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, supply chain, distribution, or similar enterprises is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on SAP WM functional consulting experience.
- Experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP WM solutions through configuration, testing, process improvement, and implementation support.
- Proven success in full lifecycle SAP WM implementations, preferably two to three end-to-end implementations.
- Experience with requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user support, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders, evaluate warehouse processes, document requirements, and align system configuration to business objectives.
Preferred
- Experience mentoring users, transferring knowledge, supporting user adoption, or serving as a trusted advisor to business and technical teams.
- Food manufacturing, food processing, food supply chain, or broader distribution industry experience.
- Experience supporting SAP WM in large manufacturing or distribution organizations.
- Working technical knowledge of SAP integrations or ABAP concepts while remaining primarily functionally focused.
- Ability to provide practical implementation guidance and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a 9-month Contract opportunity with potential for hire with our MN client.
