Sr. SAP EWM Principal Consultant

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Principal Consultant to lead EWM projects, design solutions, work directly with clients, and guide functional/ABAP teams through implementation, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional and ABAP teams for successful project delivery.
• Lead requirement gathering, blueprinting, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Propose EWM solutions and guide team members during blueprinting sessions.
• Work hands-on with EWM CRs and independently deploy changes to production following change-management processes.
• Design and manage integrations with satellite systems, vendors, MES, WES, and automated warehouse systems.
• Present solutions in architecture/design meetings and obtain approval for deployment.
• Work directly with client business teams, understand requirements, and provide solutions/advice.
• Prepare requirement documents, functional specifications, proposals, and effort estimates.
• Track team deliverables and provide regular updates to customers.
• Handle critical post-go-live issues through stabilization.
• Recommend effective EWM solutions based on industry best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Multiple full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
• At least 2 4 end-to-end EWM implementations, including at least 2 projects as a Solution Architect at client location.
• Strong experience integrating EWM with automated systems such as ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers, etc.
• Experience integrating EWM with MES and S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IM: Inventory Management, stock transfers, special stocks, stock types, physical inventory, account determination, and valuation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP WM: Master Data, inbound/outbound processing, Transfer Orders, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, shipping/transportation management, MDE, and RF units.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EWM: ECC integration, inbound/outbound processing, physical inventory, RF transactions, HU management, Transportation Units, production integration, kitting, cold-chain management, etc.
• Good integration knowledge across SD, MM, PP, and QM.
• Experience with MES/WES and non-ECC systems using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST, etc.
• Understanding of life sciences/pharmaceutical business processes.
• Experience working in GxP/GXP and SOX-regulated environments.
• Understanding of release governance, incident management, and testing tools.
• Experience handling critical production issues and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ability to understand business requirements and prepare requirement documents and functional specifications.
• Basic understanding of custom code and debugging.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.

• ABAP debugging
• Knowledge of S/4HANA MM, SD, TM, PP, and QM
• Knowledge of integrating S/4HANA with MES and other external systems.
