Position Summary: The SR Sanitation Lead functions as a leader of the Sanitation team that is directly responsible for the efficient sanitation of food processing areas and equipment. This position supports Operations before and after production ensuring that food processing equipment and areas are sanitized to prevent food contamination and ensuring to adhere with food safety regulations. Ensure that people's safety, food safety, food quality and sanitation training and standards are adhered to and completed, requiring strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to support site objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct the dismantling of equipment, cleaning and sanitizing to food safety requirements and direct reassembly
· Establishes and maintains adequate records to track chemical Inventory and Sanitation supplies.
· Controls all cleaning activities and daily scheduling of the sanitation staff to maximize efficiency and control cost associated with the third party vendor.
· Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of Claremont Food's facilities.
· Train, coach and develop cleaning staff using existing knowledge to meet the company's standards and expectations.
· Coordinates with sanitation area leads and technicians to ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained by Claremont Foods cleaning practices
· Inform Facility Maintenance Manager of all repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all operational equipment through continuous daily inspections.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Develops and maintains a staff through the selection, training, and motivation of employees.
· Directs and supervises all direct staff to ensure goals are established for proper cleanliness of the Claremont Food's facilities.
· Ability to life up to 75 pounds without assistance
· Ability to stand a minimum of 12 hours

Minimum Skills Required:
At least 2 to 3 years prior experience in a similar role with direct reports.

Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
Must be able to work the second shift
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to work Holidays based on business needs
