POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

EnFin is seeking a strong hands-on Sr Salesforce Developer to design, build, enhance, debug, and support Salesforce solutions that enable mission-critical business processes. This role is focused on development, configuration, integrations, and production support, while also collaborating closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. 

Experience in fintech, lending, solar financing, credit application, underwriting, payment, or similar financial systems is preferred and will be considered a strong plus.  Experience with Q2 Cloud Lending or similar lending platforms is good to have but not required.

This role is onsite based in San Francisco, Santa Clara or Irvine, CA, requiring up to 20% travel.

ROLE EXPECATIONS

  • Serve as a senior hands-on Salesforce developer responsible for building, enhancing, debugging, and supporting Salesforce solutions.
  • Spend approximately 75% of time on hands-on development, configuration, integrations, debugging, testing support, and production issue resolution; spend approximately 25% of time on code review, technical guidance, and lead activities.
  • Take ownership of assigned technical work from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Partners with architects, technical leads, product owners, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver durable and scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Write code and configuration that other team members can understand, maintain, and extend.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce platform APIs. 
  • Design, build, and support Salesforce configuration including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and case management capabilities. 
  • Build and enhance Lightning user interfaces using LWC, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Salesforce design standards. 
  • Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, platform events, scheduled jobs, batch jobs, queueable Apex, and other Salesforce integration patterns. 
  • Analyze logs, debug Apex and automation issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes for production and lower-environment issues. 
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including solution design, development, unit testing, QA support, deployment, and production support. 
  • Perform code reviews and follow Salesforce best practices related to security, performance, maintainability, bulkification, and governor limits. 
  • Work with business owners, product teams, QA, architects, and cross-functional technology teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 
  • Maintain and configure Salesforce development and test environments, including sandbox support and release activities. 
  • Learn and apply new Salesforce platform capabilities where they provide practical business value. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce platform APIs. 
  • Strong Salesforce configuration experience includes fields, objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and case management.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, and modern web application development concepts.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, object relationships, security model, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and performance-aware development.
  • Ability to debug complex issues across Apex, flows, validation rules, Lightning components, integrations, and data flows.
  • Ability to write clean, understandable, maintainable code that other team members can support and extend.
  • Ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details clearly to business and technical audiences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Salesforce Developer certification.
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, source control, deployment tools, and release management.
  • Ability to quickly learn technologies and integrate them into existing enterprise platforms.
