Description

BCforward is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/Lead for an onsite position in New York, NY. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure Salesforce solutions while leading technical teams to optimize system performance for large data volumes. Key qualifications include 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development using Apex, LWC, and Triggers, proven experience managing large data volumes, and strong technical leadership skills.

Pay and Contract Duration

Pay Rate: $70/hr to $75/hr on W2
Engagement: 6-month temporary contract opportunity

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain secure production code using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Optimize platform performance and resolve complex technical issues for systems handling large data volumes.
Lead architectural assessments with internal teams and vendors, automate recurring technical issues, and mentor developers on best practices

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Triggers.
Demonstrated expertise in optimizing platform performance and managing large datasets.
Strong technical leadership abilities to coach engineers, conduct code reviews, and present solution architectures.
Bachelor's degree (BA).
Experience in financial services, cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, Java, or Bitbucket/Jira source control tools is preferred.
