SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Corporate Partnership Sr. Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sponsorship pipeline and revenue targets by identifying, developing and closing local, regional and national corporate partners for the Cincinnati Bengals. This role will focus primarily on new business generation through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach and consultative selling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, identify and develop prospective corporate partners while building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue goals
Drive new corporate sponsorship revenue through strategic outreach, relationship development, negotiations and closing partnership agreements
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to Senior Level decisionmakers, incorporating a clear understanding of prospective partners' marketing and business objectives while becoming an expert on Bengals brand storytelling
Utilize CRM tools to manage prospect activity, sales stages, outreach efforts, proposals and client information throughout the sales process
Establish strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support collaboration, partnership growth and best-in-class execution
Work closely with Partnership Activation Staff to ensure seamless transition from sale to execution and superior client service and fulfillment
Conduct business during non-traditional hours, including attending Bengals home games, training camp, select away games, industry events, conferences and other events as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management or related field required
Five (5) years of sponsorship sales experience within a sports team, league or related industry
Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop and close complex partnership deals while achieving sales goals
Strong understanding of sponsorship assets, media, digital and integrated partnership platforms
Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and CRM platforms such as Kore or D365
