Description

ABM Industries is seeking a Sr. Sales Enablement Specialist (Training Specialist) to join our Sales Enablement Team. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and measuring sales training programs that build the skills, knowledge, and behaviors our sales organization needs to succeed. The ideal candidate blends instructional design expertise, strategic thinking, and sales acumen, and is comfortable both building courses from the ground up and standing in front of a room facilitating live training. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Sales Enablement.

Pay: $95,000 - $135,000

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, instructional design, or a related field in a B2B corporate environment

  • Demonstrated experience applying the ADDIE model or similar instructional design framework

  • Experience creating skills assessments and evaluation rubrics

  • Proficiency with Vyond or a comparable e-learning/animation authoring tool

  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect training initiatives to broader sales and business objectives

  • Ability to design scalable content and programs that can flex across audiences, teams, and growth stages

  • Experience using AI tools to build custom GPTs or similar AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and workflow

  • Prior experience administering an LMS required (LMS administration is not an ongoing responsibility of this role, but familiarity with LMS workflows is expected)

  • Proven experience facilitating classroom or live training sessions

  • Experience coaching sales professionals on pitch delivery and presentation skills, with the ability to give clear, actionable feedback

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders, including VP- and Director-level Sales Leaders and SMEs

  • Familiarity with Client-Based Selling (ABM''s methodology, aligned with the Challenger Sales Methodology) or a similar consultative/prescriptive sales methodology, such as the Challenger Sales Methodology, Prescriptive Sales Methodology, Solution Selling, or GAP Selling

  • Working knowledge of ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Must be based in Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Sales Enablement or Sales Training role

  • Background in B2B sales or sales leadership

  • Certification in Instructional Design or Adult Learning (e.g., ATD Master Trainer, CPLP) a plus, given the ADDIE-based course development responsibilities

  • Experience building measurement frameworks tied to business outcomes (e.g., revenue impact, pipeline conversion)

  • Develop engaging multimedia content using Vyond or similar animated video/e-learning authoring tools

  • Design scalable training content and programs that can be efficiently adapted and reused across teams, regions, and evolving sales priorities

  • Apply strategic thinking to align training content and priorities with broader sales and business objectives

  • Partner closely with Sales Leaders and Subject Matter Experts, including those at the VP and Director level, to design and develop new learning content that reflects current sales priorities and field realities

  • Leverage AI tools, including custom GPTs, to streamline content development, course creation, and other Sales Enablement workflows

Classroom & Facilitation

  • Plan and deliver classroom-based training sessions, including interactive activities, role-plays, and hands-on exercises

  • Develop detailed lesson plans and facilitator guides to support consistent, high-quality delivery

  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing sales team members

  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to sales team members on pitches and presentations to strengthen delivery and messaging
