Description



Reliability Engineering & Product Development

  • Lead reliability engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.
  • Define reliability requirements and qualification strategies based on customer expectations, product specifications, and application demands.
  • Develop and execute reliability verification and validation plans supporting new product releases and engineering changes.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure Design for Reliability (DfR) principles are embedded into product development activities.


Analysis & Qualification

  • Develop system reliability models and perform component-level thermo-mechanical analyses.
  • Create and execute accelerated life testing, reliability growth testing, and other reliability assessments.
  • Analyze performance data and reliability trends to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize reliability and statistical analysis tools to evaluate performance and support decision making.


Failure Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead root cause investigations and failure analysis efforts to identify reliability concerns.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions through successful implementation and validation.
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service organizations to improve product reliability and field performance.
  • Evaluate engineering changes and determine potential impacts to product reliability.


Data & Reporting

  • Establish and report key reliability metrics including MTBF, MTBFp, availability, and reliability growth trends.
  • Gather and analyze reliability data from customers, manufacturing, quality, and field service organizations.
  • Generate technical reports, reliability forecasts, and statistical analyses to support business and product decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across multiple functions.


Customer & Supplier Support

  • Partner with global customers, suppliers, and service organizations to address reliability challenges and implement improvements.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support reliability initiatives and customer needs.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Reliability Engineering experience within a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Master's degree in Engineering and/or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification preferred.
  • Strong experience with reliability methodologies including DFMEA, accelerated life testing, reliability growth testing, and qualification processes.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing reliability and statistical analysis tools such as Reliasoft, Windchill Reliability, and Minitab.
  • Experience performing reliability modeling, data analysis, and failure investigations.
  • Strong understanding of product development, manufacturing quality systems, and reliability engineering principles.
  • Semiconductor capital equipment experience and familiarity with SEMI reliability standards strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.
