Job Description

Lead reliability engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Partner with engineering teams to implement Design for Reliability (DfR) methodologies and best practices. Develop and execute reliability plans, validation strategies, and qualification programmes for new products and technologies. Participate in design reviews and influence product development decisions to improve reliability performance. Create system reliability models and perform component-level thermomechanical analysis. Design and execute accelerated life testing, reliability growth testing, and validation programmes. Collect, analyse, and report reliability data from manufacturing, quality, customer, and field service sources. Lead root cause investigations, failure analysis activities, and corrective action initiatives. Evaluate engineering changes and assess their impact on product reliability and performance. Generate reliability reports, statistical analyses, and performance forecasts. Collaborate with global customers, suppliers, and service teams to support reliability improvement initiatives. Support reliability metric reporting including MTBF, availability, and other key performance indicators.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering. Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, testing methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques. Experience developing reliability plans, DFMEAs, test protocols, and qualification strategies. Hands-on experience with reliability and statistical software tools such as ReliaSoft, PTC Windchill, or Minitab. Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and drive technical problem-solving initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. Ability to analyse large data sets and translate findings into actionable product improvements. Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Experience

Master's degree in Engineering or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification. Experience within semiconductor equipment, advanced manufacturing, or highly engineered product environments. Familiarity with SEMI reliability standards and associated industry metrics. Experience supporting complex electromechanical systems or capital equipment products.
