POSITION SUMMARY
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is excited to welcome a Sr Recreation Facility Manager to the team! This position will report to the Recreation Manager and will be responsible for the management and operations of Northern Regional Recreation Center. The facility offers recreation services and programs in aquatics, fitness, senior adults, technology, childcare, and more to visitors and members of our community. In addition, the Sr Recreation Facility Manager will oversee marketing, administration, and maintenance operations at the facility. The selected candidate will also participate in budget planning/implementation, and monitor achievement of operational goals. In partnership with the Recreation Manager, they will also directly and indirectly supervise all facility staff and all subordinate supervisors. The successful candidate will have experience providing recreation programs to diverse audiences and have a commitment to ensuring their staff is equipped to do so as well. This full-time position will be required to work some evenings, rotating weekends, and holidays based on event and facility needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience in recreation programming; One (1) year of supervisory experience or completion of an approved supervisory training program
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Administration, Park and Recreation or related field
Combination of relevant experience and relevant education accepted?: Yes
Licenses/Certifications: Requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver''s License and County Driving Privileges
