Senior Project Manager

This boutique owner's representation and construction project management firm provides high-touch advisory services across multiple sectors. The Senior Project Manager plays a central role in delivering successful outcomes, with consistent access to executive leadership and diverse project exposure. This Senior Project Manager position sits within a collaborative, growth-focused team environment where impact and ownership are highly valued.

Lead multiple construction projects independently from pre-construction through closeout. Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Take full ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies. Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations. Oversee contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project alignment and execution. Lead project meetings to drive accountability and informed decision-making. Maintain accurate project documentation, including financials and key records. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and purchase orders. Prepare and present project status reports, including metrics and risk updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners. Support business development efforts through networking and opportunity identification. Collaborate with leadership on proposals, presentations, and project pursuits. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a team-oriented culture. Ensure work aligns with company standards and performance expectations. As a Senior Project Manager, take ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. The Senior Project Manager will also support revenue goals and contribute to overall firm growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management or related field
  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or similar discipline
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and manage client relationships
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from planning through closeout
  • Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments
  • Analytical thinker with proactive problem-solving capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  • Established industry network and ability to support business development efforts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn
  • PMP or CCM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
  • Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities
