    Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Sr. Project Manager - Low Voltage position. This position is a direct hire opportunity, primarily on-site in the Ocoee/Winter Garden, FL area.


    Summary


    The Sr. Project Manager - Low Voltage position will directly oversee multiple lighting control systems projects totaling $5-15M while also leading the project management team. This role is accountable for increasing
    productivity, consistency, and quality; mentoring staff and serving as the primary point of contact
    between the project management and Executive Leadership.


    Job Description:

    The Sr. Project Manager will oversee a small team (4-6) as well as manage a set of projects directly. This position will be involved in the specification, design and ultimate installation of  low-voltage commercial projects - lighting, AV, HVAC controls, automation, etc. Experience with theme parks, museums, casinos, airports....anywhere that uses specialty lighting systems.


    Some travel may be required, although estimated at less than 10% and not expected to be long stays at locations

    A. Project Management - Manages their own projects start to finish as a project manager.
    B. Team Leadership & Management - Provide direct oversight of the PMs and APMs. Monitor
    workloads and balance project assignments across the team. Provide regular coaching, mentorship
    and performance feedback to each team member.
    C. Performance Management - Monitor the progress, schedules and deliverables of all active projects;
    identify and mitigate any risks and issues. Establish and measure performance metrics to focus on
    improvement efforts and to provide performance feedback.
    D. Financial Management - Review project budget and cost performance, labor utilization, billing
    timeliness and accuracy, forecasts, and special spend requests. Make recommendations that
    improve the company's financial performance.
    E. Onboarding & Staff Development - Direct the onboarding of new PMs and APMs. Confirm the
    completion of necessary training, the adoption of company processes and practices, and support the
    ongoing improvement of onboarding and training for the team. Lead ongoing training of PM/APM
    staff.
    F. Process Improvement Leadership - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and
    practices for all project management processes. Establish regular reviews to keep these current and
    consistently in use across the PM team.
    G. Cross-Department Collaboration - Work directly across the company to coordinate project
    priorities, resolve resource conflicts, improve communications, support strategic initiatives, and
    develop and implement operational improvements.


    Qualified candidates would have the following:

    • 5+ years of project management experience within electrical systems, controls integration, construction or related fields.  Proven ability to lead a team of 4-8 individuals.
    • Low Voltage/lighting controls - Working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, understanding of DMX512 and DALI 2 protocols, ability to read electrical and control systems drawings and schematics
    • Computer Skills - Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and other applications
    • Quality Orientation - Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship, accuracy and timely completion and schedule deadlines.
    • Communication - Strong, clear, direct and professional communications to clients and co-workers, both internal and external to the company.
    • Problem Solving Skills
    • Physical Capabilities - Possess the manual dexterity for occasional reaching, climbing, and lifting
      of objects. Be sufficiently ambulatory to walk a construction job site (up to 2 miles). Able to
      operate power tools and office equipment. Able to climb and work from a ladder up to a height
      of 15'.
