Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent, high-impact AI and data automation initiatives within a Life Sciences environment. This individual will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on leveraging Anthropic's Claude AI and advanced data automation technologies to streamline workflows and improve data accessibility for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex technical projects, experience with AI and data-driven initiatives, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:- Lead multiple technical projects from initiation through successful delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, and objectives are met.
- Manage AI-driven initiatives utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), including Anthropic's Claude AI, to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with data engineering teams to streamline data processes and optimize delivery for downstream data consumers.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure successful project execution.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and promote alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience leading complex IT, software development, data engineering, or technical projects.
- Experience managing projects involving AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), automation solutions, or data pipeline initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or related certifications preferred.
- Prior experience within Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotech, or Clinical Trials environments preferred.
