Commercial Construction Project Manager

This client is a well-established commercial construction and project management firm specializing in high-profile renovation, tenant improvement, hospitality, entertainment, retail, and corporate projects. They are known for delivering complex projects in fast-paced, occupied environments through a collaborative, hands-on approach that emphasizes preconstruction planning, client service, and operational excellence. Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontractor agreements, and procurement plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on project status, risks, costs, and schedule milestones. Coordinate field operations, subcontractor performance, and material procurement to ensure seamless project execution. Review and process change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project documentation. Monitor project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and budget management. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control requirements, and company procedures. Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful applicant:

• Has 7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Has proven ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Has strong knowledge of construction operations, project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Has experience managing client relationships and coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all project stakeholders.
• Has demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Has strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Is detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage project documentation, financial reporting, and project controls.
• Is committed to safety, quality, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Is self-motivated, accountable, and able to take ownership of projects from inception through completion.
• Is proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
