We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to lead and execute complex high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with a proven record of navigating challenging situations, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional results.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, strong project leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely on time and within budget.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee project planning, resource allocation, cost management, scheduling, and coordination with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams. This position will play a critical role in mentoring project teams, driving performance, and upholding company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead all phases of projects, including pre-construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout. • Develop project budgets, track costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and ensure financial targets are met. • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved, and coordinating with field supervision and subcontractors to meet deadlines. • Direct and support project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff, promoting collaboration, accountability, and team development. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and other trade partners, managing communication, updates, and expectations throughout the project life cycle. • Ensure all work meets project specifications, local codes, and industry standards, overseeing QA/QC procedures and resolving technical issues as needed. • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, negotiating and managing subcontractor agreements and performance. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies, monitoring safety performance and ensuring compliance with company and OSHA safety standards. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and financial updates.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management. • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical project management. • Experience collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, and field crews. • Strong understanding of cost control, change order management, and scheduling principles. • Deep knowledge of local codes, industry standards, electrical system design, installation practices, and troubleshooting. • Demonstrated initiative, works well in a team environment, and adapts easily to collaborating with individuals from various disciplines. • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must have a valid drivers license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master Electrician license. • 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Position Type
This is a full-time position, which will involve at least 40 hours per week. Overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early, late hours to deal with delays, bad weather, and emergencies.
