Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Data & Analytics Services (EDAS) team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise data project delivery, cross-team coordination, and Jira/Confluence-driven execution and a proven ability to organize complex initiatives, manage dependencies and risks, and provide clear, executive-ready status and readiness reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, and action-item trackers with complete project documentation.
- Drive execution across multiple concurrent projects while tracking deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, constraints, and dependency impacts proactively.
- Partner with business and technology project managers to align EDAS deliverables and implementation activities with broader program objectives.
- Facilitate implementation planning, readiness reviews, checkpoints, and status meetings.
- Serve as a central coordination point across EDAS squads and workstreams to consolidate status, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and milestones.
- Create and maintain concise, executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, status reports, and governance materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of Project Management, Technology Delivery, PMO, or related experience within large enterprises.
- Banking or Financial Services experience supporting technology, data, analytics, governance, regulatory, risk, or modernization initiatives.
- Experience leading data projects across Data Warehousing, Data Integration/ETL, Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics, Reporting, Regulatory Data, or Data Modernization.
- Proven coordination of cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups with strong accountability management.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including boards, dashboards, delivery metrics, reporting, and documentation workflows.
- Experience producing project plans, RAID logs, executive reporting, and governance materials across Kanban, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Understanding of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
Preferred Skills:
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master certification beneficial.
- Experience supporting Enterprise Data & Analytics organizations.
- Experience with Alation, GCP, BigQuery, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Experience in large-scale modernization or transformation programs.
