    The Opportunity

    As a Senior Power Generation Project Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering complex power generation projects across design services and EPC portfolios. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams while driving technical excellence, project execution, and client satisfaction.

    • Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering and technical teams
    • Manage diverse, high-impact projects from concept through execution
    • Oversee design quality, budgets, schedules, and risk management
    • Engage directly with clients to support project delivery, proposals, and business development initiatives

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Execution
    • Prepare and review complex engineering deliverables for large-scale or multiple concurrent projects
    • Conduct engineering research and develop equipment and material recommendations
    • Manage technical data and perform advanced engineering calculations
    • Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and quality standards across multiple disciplines
    • Establish and implement project work plans
    • Lead large production teams and coordinate multi-discipline activities while serving as Engineer of Record or Responsible Charge
    Client Interface & Business Development
    • Identify key client drivers and project success criteria
    • Address client concerns and collaborate with teams to develop effective solutions
    • Support proposal development, pursuits, and client presentations
    • Manage project changes directly with clients under the guidance of the Project Manager
    Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical direction and leadership on complex power generation projects
    • Drive innovative, practical engineering solutions to meet project objectives
    • Ensure alignment with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
    Management Responsibilities
    • Review and approve work performed by junior and mid-level engineers
    • Support talent development, performance management, and mentoring
    • Responsible for hiring, discipline, and compensation administration of direct reports
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License strongly preferred
    • Experience managing EPC or design services for simple cycle and combined cycle gas turbine projects in the United States
    • Proven engineering management experience with a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
    • Strong client-facing communication skills with a passion for relationship building
    • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles, codes, and standards
    • Working knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration
    • Experience supporting proposals and developing engineering cost estimates
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 11 years of relevant professional experience
    • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record reviews, in compliance with applicable laws
