Description

Construction Leadership & Field ManagementLead daily field operations on a high-profile pharmaceutical construction program. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, trade partners, and field personnel. Ensure all work is executed according to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement detailed work plans to support project milestones and critical path activities. Monitor construction productivity, manpower utilization, and site logistics.Technical Project CoordinationAct as a key liaison between project management, engineering teams, design consultants, and field operations. Manage RFIs, submittals, design clarifications, shop drawing reviews, and technical issue resolution. Identify constructability concerns and develop practical solutions to maintain project objectives. Coordinate installation activities involving complex mechanical, electrical, process, laboratory, cleanroom, and utility systems. Assist in planning commissioning, qualification, startup, and facility turnover activities.Schedule & Project ControlsSupport development and execution of master project schedules. Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify potential delays or risk factors. Assist with short-interval planning and look-ahead scheduling activities. Coordinate sequencing of work to maintain schedule commitments while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.Regulatory Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure adherence to GMP, FDA, validation, quality, and other applicable regulatory standards. Support implementation of project-specific quality management programs. Participate in inspections, audits, turnover documentation, and compliance reviews. Verify installations meet design intent and operational requirements.Safety LeadershipChampion Torcon's safety culture and actively promote zero-incident project execution. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and subcontractor compliance reviews. Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with OSHA requirements, client standards, and company policies. Lead incident prevention initiatives and corrective action processes.Stakeholder ManagementParticipate in meetings with clients, agency representatives, consultants, and project leadership. Prepare project status updates and field reports. Maintain strong working relationships across all project stakeholders. Represent Torcon professionally while supporting the client's mission-critical objectives.Commissioning & TurnoverSupport commissioning and validation efforts for highly technical building systems. Coordinate punch list management and project closeout activities. Ensure turnover documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with client requirements.
