Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Project Analysts (EPMO)

    About the Role

The Senior Project Analyst partners with cross‑functional business and technology teams to lead business analysis, support project delivery, and help translate strategy into executable outcomes. This role operates within an enterprise portfolio and project environment and supports initiatives of moderate to high complexity from intake through delivery and post‑implementation validation.

This is a 6‑month contract with intent to convert to full‑time based on performance. Candidates must be interested in long‑term employment.

    What You’ll Do

    Business Analysis & Discovery

    • Lead end‑to‑end business analysis across the full project lifecycle, from intake through business readiness and post‑delivery validation
    • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to define business problems, uncover implicit needs, and translate them into clear, measurable business requirements
    • Facilitate current‑state and future‑state workflow analysis to drive meaningful business outcomes
    • Identify value drivers, process improvements, and governance efficiencies
    • Maintain high‑quality standards for all analysis artifacts and deliverables
    • Navigate ambiguity, proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining momentum

    Solution & Delivery Support

    • Act as a thought partner to Project Managers, helping bridge strategy, business needs, and technical execution
    • Collaborate with business and technical partners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into solution design
    • Support solution option analysis, tradeoff discussions, and prioritization of competing business needs
    • Contribute to feasibility assessments and ensure alignment with enterprise technology constraints
    • Maintain requirements traceability through design, testing, and implementation
    • Support User Acceptance Testing, End‑to‑End Testing, and overall solution validation
    • Develop RFPs, evaluate vendor responses, and contribute to vendor risk assessments when applicable

    Stakeholder Partnership & Consulting

    • Lead meetings, workshops, and decision forums with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders
    • Communicate complex information clearly and confidently, tailoring messaging to executive, business, and delivery audiences
    • Operate with semi‑autonomy while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners
    • Resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and support alignment across multiple business and technology teams
    • Influence decision‑making to optimize value delivery and business outcomes
    • Model proactive engagement, open dialogue, and strong collaborative presence

    Governance, Change & Readiness

    • Support enterprise governance, compliance, and change‑readiness practices within projects
    • Partner with project teams to assess business and operational readiness, not just solution delivery
    • Identify impacts to end users and support change plans to improve adoption and buy‑in
    • Leverage industry best practices and lessons learned to improve portfolio, program, and project delivery
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis standards, tools, and ways of working

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Experience

    • Senior‑level business or project analysis experience supporting mid‑ to large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives
    • Proven ability to lead requirements definition, validation, and traceability—not just document requirements
    • Experience working alongside Project Managers as a collaborative partner
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct engagement with senior leaders
    • Comfort operating in complex, ambiguous environments with minimal oversight
    • Experience supporting enterprise governance, compliance, and business readiness activities
    • End‑to‑end project experience, preferably within a regulated or financial services environment

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
    • Advanced degree a plus

    Skills & Capabilities

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong facilitation, consulting, and relationship‑building abilities
    • Analytical mindset with strong planning, organization, and problem‑solving skills
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with contract language, vendor management, and procurement processes
    • Customer‑focused, proactive, and adaptable working style
