Sr. Product Manager - ServiceNow Portfolio
Summary
Our client is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to own the product management discipline across their ServiceNow portfolio. This is a portfolio-level accountability role, rather than a single-product role. You will own intake, prioritization, roadmap governance, release readiness, and executive visibility while a product owner handles day-to-day backlog execution. The role sits within a maturing platform organization adopting a Digital product operating model, so much of the work is establishing standards, routines, and decision frameworks that do not yet exist.
Responsibilities
- Own the ServiceNow Portfolio Product Management discipline: intake, prioritization, roadmap governance, release guardrails, and executive reporting.
- Maintain the integrated portfolio roadmap so strategy, platform health, enterprise priorities, and delivery capacity sit in one decision view.
- Define the release management approach including readiness criteria, sequencing logic, decision gates, and post-release value review.
- Own the prioritization model and backlog governance standards, and facilitate trade-offs across value, risk, platform sustainability, compliance, and capacity.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into structured product work and partner with product leads on dependencies and sequencing risks.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or enterprise platform work.
- Experience managing complex technology product portfolios, not a single product or team.
- Strong command of roadmap development, backlog management, prioritization frameworks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and drive decisions without direct authority.
- Strong written communication skills including executive-ready summaries and decision documentation.
Preferred
- Experience in ServiceNow or another enterprise workflow platform.
- Exposure to ITSM, ITAM, SPM, SecOps, IRM, ITOM, or employee experience capabilities.
- Familiarity with product operating model practices.
- Experience in value-based prioritization, KPI development, and product performance reporting.
- Experience establishing product management discipline in a transformation or maturing platform environment.
