ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Product Manager in retail automation and robotics will lead the development and execution of automation initiatives. This role involves managing proof-of-concept projects, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver solutions, and evaluating emerging technologies for potential scaling. The position requires translating business needs into actionable product development plans and driving results that improve operational workflows.

You will engage with store associates, business stakeholders, and external vendors to gather feedback, refine solutions, and support adoption. The role also involves assessing new robotics and automation solutions, documenting findings, and making recommendations to maximize value. Reporting to the organization’s innovation teams, you will support global collaboration efforts to advance automation projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily product management activities for automation and robotics initiatives.
• Manage proof-of-concept efforts from implementation through evaluation and recommendation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support delivery, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
• Translate business requirements into product specifications, user stories, and success metrics.
• Prioritize product enhancements based on user feedback and business impact.
• Define and track KPIs to measure product adoption and operational success.
• Gather and synthesize feedback from users and stakeholders for continuous improvements.
• Support evaluation of emerging automation, robotics, and AI technologies through demos and pilot assessments.
• Document findings, risks, and potential value of new solutions.
• Partner with operations, technology, and external vendors to ensure project success and stakeholder alignment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of product management experience with technology-enabled solutions.
• Proven experience managing pilots, proof-of-concept projects, or innovation initiatives.
• Strong ability to gather, synthesize, and act on user feedback.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Ability to define success metrics and measure business outcomes.
• Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Flexibility to support occasional evening global meetings.
• Experience in retail, logistics, supply chain, or operational technology is preferred.
• Familiarity with automation, AI, computer vision, robotics, or workflow orchestration technology is preferred.
