Jobot is partnering with an established services company that helps major organizations manage complex procurement and expense challenges. Our client is building a new platform to automate business processes and improve how internal teams review invoices, validate contracts, and support clients.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Engineer who can take a business problem from discovery through architecture, implementation, and delivery. You’ll collaborate directly with product, design, and internal users to understand what needs to be built and why.

AI development tools are central to the team’s workflow, with engineers owning architectural decisions, technical quality, and validation. The environment includes Ruby on Rails, component-based interfaces, and Railway hosting. Rails experience is preferred, with openness to engineers from Elixir or other full-stack backgrounds who demonstrate strong architectural thinking and an ability to learn.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering, with a strong focus on API development.
3. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
4. Deep understanding of modern technology trends and the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive product innovation.
5. Exceptional project management and team leadership skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and analytical mindset.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
9. Familiarity with cloud platforms, data analytics, machine learning, or other advanced technologies is highly desirable.
